Explains how white-nation states have created and perpetuated a discourse of ownership through 'Possessive logics' which serve to rationalize ongoing land dispossession from Indigenous peoples. The factsheet uses the Mi'kmaq fisheries dispute to exemplify how 'possessive logics' are used to by white settlers to reproduce and reaffirm the nation states' so-called ownership, control and domination of Indigenous land.
